New Prints.
Meanwhile almighty Kunstwollen makes me draw as crazy lately, there are three new prints at the store.
I know, its been a while since I last time updated it, but some of you, dear readers, quite enthusiastic in sending requests :) And I highly appreciate it, really.
All the prints A3, made on heavy aquarelle paper and have a look of originals... I was surprised by this fact. Maybe one lucky person will get original instead of 30$ print, if I will keep on being inadvertent?
So, I have limited amount of them, they will be signed and shipped in plastic tube.
Any questions about the prints ? Drop a line.

You`re HOT
I have hectic times past two days... So I was more than happy to snatch finally a few hours for drawing today. Inspired by Lanvin...
It`s a pity that scanned pic doesn`t show the golden accent I added ( found a bunch of golden glittering ones accidentally among thousand of pens I have!)
Let it be a kitschy touch, but charming :)

Although springs celebrating Fools Day with a mixture of snow storm and warm rain all day long, I believe it is time for farewells to winter. This lady is not going to screen her heat underneath a fur coat ( even if it is a Fendi one) any more. So I am, I used to feel naively that wearing light coat would make spring come sooner :)

Chanel
My todays work is inspired by Chanel show. I especially love those fur helmets, which definitely send us to Courreges` hats and also Louise Brooks` bob (one of my fave hair cut to depict). Funny to see that a person as I am -- wearing no hats and hating hair cut for myself -- confesses in such a soft spots... But it actually what our life is about -- we often love what we can`t get and, what is more important, doesn`t suit us :) I find it funny.
Ok, no more verbiage :) In the mean time, lucky Londoners heading to Fashion Illustration Gallery at Decoy evening for seeing Decoy featured originals and huge and inspiring exposition of works, including David Downton, Andy Warhol and others.

As for me, I should get rid of stress and hassel of todays by going for rumba and cha-cha in 10 min :D

Spring, come.
Although most stories at my pics take place at dark night, where moon of my imagination brightens things by virescent light, today I feel it`s time to change decorations.Waiting for spring.
Here it is, another sad (mad?) looking lady wades across a blossoming garden. She is robed in look 40 from Chalayan Fall 2013.
This garment incarnates spring nature for me: changeant textile looks like a plant coming out from сhapped earth... Or something new and promising -- as every spring -- underneath a rusty surface.
Wish you a lovely weekend, sunny and merry:)

In the shadow of young girls in flower...
I know, we all owe Proust a lot for using the phrase so often, especially those of us from glossy publishing, who really makes this words trite, mentioning them as a metaphor every time a new sweet trend appearing at the horizon, be it flower printed textiles or bright cheeked look.
But, assuredly, my brain couldn`t find anything as poetic as these words for this time!Wearing Comme des Carcons rose jacket from 2013 Fall makes a girl look like a flower, whose shadow is pleasing and desirable...
Not too sugary though, being deconstructed and modern. I`m impressed :)

Decoy.New.Wow
Those of you who keep fingers on the pulse of fashion illustration, already familiar with Decoy magazine,a brain child of Richard Kilroy, a great project marries fashion and illustration.
These days new issue of Decoy has been launched and now exclusively available at Fashion Illustration Gallery. This time Decoy spreads its pages for illustrative interpretation of London Mens Fashion, and there are a lot to stare at inside...
It is hot news for me:) For me as a crazy fan and for me as a contributing artist... And I swear, for the first time in my life I`m enjoying Russian superstition of making a wish being placed between people sharing the same name, since today I`m in a great company of Richard Kilroy and Richard Gray!
I strongly recommend you to lay your hands on new Decoy asap, because it always feels like something more than just a magazine featuring various artist. It looks like a research, and Richard shows himself not only as a talented artist, but also as a person with culturological approach in making every issue. With a keen interest for discovering aspiring and searching for more of established, Decoy appears to have not only inspirational purpose, but educational side as well. It is a great finding for a person who is interested in fashion illustration as a form of art and as industry, and of course a source to stimulate imagination.
Do not miss the chance to enjoy new works by Richard Gray, Richard Kilroy,Ricardo Fumanal, Tara Dougans, Judith Van Den Hoek and me.
Look inside to see mooore :)

The All-Seer.
I just couldn`t bypass such a cool thing as Kenzo 2013 eyes coat! I love the idea, being drawn so much for the eye moment, as many people do, I`m sure.
Even allow myself to make a tiny little excursus though my designs, where the eye motif was emphasized... (short though, it`s night and enthusiasm for digging archives volatilized away shortly:) )
